Taylor Swift has paused her concert mid-show to deliver a rare personal statement.

The US pop star, 33, revealed how she’s been feeling behind closed doors amid reports she is now dating 1975 singer Matty Healy, weeks after news emerged of her split from long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

While she’s remained silent as reports have swirled since her break-up from Alwyn in April, Swift finally addressed all the changes in her life while speaking to the crowd at her Eras Tour concert in Massachusetts on Sunday.

“I kind of feel like telling you, I don’t know, I’ve just never been this happy in my life, in all aspects of my life ever before,” Swift said.

“And I just want to thank you for being a part of that. It’s not just the tour. I just sort of feel like my life finally feels like it makes sense.”

It comes after Healy, 34, was seen sneaking into Swift’s New York City apartment a few nights ago, and the pair were photographed at Electric Lady Studios in the city last week.

The British singer, who has been friends with Swift for years, has also been sighted at several of her Eras Tour concerts across the US.

While Swift is happier than ever, reports suggest Alwyn isn’t doing so well amid news of her blossoming romance.

A source recently told Daily Mail: “Joe feels slighted and is distraught after seeing her budding relationship with Matt, but is doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself,” the source said. “Joe was aware that Taylor and Matt were making music together and collaborating. She told him that they had become friends and he trusted her.”

Multiple sources have added there was no overlap in the relationships.

Swift and Alwyn were notoriously private after meeting at the Met Gala in 2016.

They had never walked a red carpet together, nor uploaded a photo with one another on social media.

But behind the scenes they were a formidable force, with Alwyn helping Swift pen songs for her last three albums: folklore, evermore and Midnights.

While it was claimed their split was amicable, friends of Swift - including US actor Ryan Reynolds - were quick to unfollow Alwyn on Instagram in the days afterwards.
