Imogen Anthony issues cryptic response to ex Kyle Sandilands’ wedding
Australian model Imogen Anthony appears to throw more shade at her ex in the wake of his million-dollar wedding to Tegan Kynaston.
Kyle Sandilands’ ex Imogen Anthony appears to continue to shade his new marriage to Tegan Kynaston.
Days after the radio host and his former employee tied the knot in a million-dollar ceremony in Sydney, Anthony, 31, took to Instagram to rant about never settling when it comes to relationships.
“You’ll never know heaven ‘till you’ve been to hell,” she began in a lengthy post.
“Please don’t assume you know anything when it’s taken this long to overcome. People are exactly what you think they are, conniving, vindictive and manipulative.
“My life is about making it a special one, living under zero control of others, doing and being as I please with no ill intent.”
The Aussie model – who dated Sandilands for eight years until their split in 2019 –
accompanied her post with a video of herself wearing a cowboy hat and sipping a slushie, while her mysterious new husband lingers in the background.
“It’s not my fault if someone didn’t know how to treat or appreciate something while they had it,” she continued. “Life is much better when you live for yourself. Not under the ‘guise or what someone else wants you to be.
“My life is mine and I only want what I deserve, not what someone else thinks is enough. If someone else is willing to settle, that’s on them. I ain’t. So leave me out of it.”
Following their split in 2019, Sandilands revealed that their 19-year age gap played a major factor in their break-up. They met when she was just 21.
Speaking on Mamamia’sNo Filter podcast, the shock jock said Anthony “went from a young girl into a woman” towards the end of their relationship.
“It’s not as if we couldn’t get on. It’s just I was going into my twilight years and she was just becoming a woman,” he explained.
“It was just one of those things that it was fun while it lasted and it was great, we enjoyed a lot of things about each other, but some of these things they come to an end sometimes.”
While there appears no bad blood from his end, Anthony appears to continually shade his union with Kynaston, who used to be the communications director of his production company, The King Kyle Group.
On Sandilands’ wedding day, Anthony seemingly tried to steal the spotlight by posting a cheeky carousel of photos implying she was on her honeymoon.
“Our time away so far,” she captioned the photos taken on holidays in Phuket, Thailand, one of which featured two swan-shaped towels entwined on a large bed above rose petals that spell out “H. MOON”.
Anthony married her boyfriend in a quickie Las Vegas ceremony last November at the Little Chapel of Hearts aisle, wearing white lingerie and a sheer robe.
“November Rain,” she wrote in a short and sweet caption of her wedding pics.
The identity of her husband remains concealed, with Anthony yet to share his name or image, instead keeping his face mostly hidden in photos and videos she posts.
Hours prior to their wedding, she teased on Instagram at the time: “I wanna do something crazy” as she stood outside the chapel on the Vegas strip.
