Travel Tuesday: Samsonite, Etihad, Luxury Escapes, Myer

Etihad is slinging $1565 return flights to London, Samsonite, American Tourister and Myer all shaving 40 per cent off suitcases and Trip.com has $29 flights on the horizon in this week's best travel deal round-up.

It's not everyday you see flights to the UK fall below those to Europe, but that's exactly what's happening right now with Etihad and Qatar Airways both running incredible London flight sales.

By price, Etihad wins this round with fares from Sydney from $1565 return. The best news is that you can fly in and out during the European summer at these prices, but the caveat is that you have to leave asap. Some travel dates we've found at this price are July 23 to August 17, 2025 and July 29 to August 24, 2025.

If you need more time to organise your trip, Qatar Airways' sale gets you to London and back from $1692 with travel dates ranging from November 5 to December 3, 2025. 

Finally, if you're quick on the mark Trip.com is giving Aussies the chance to score $29 seats between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. This offer starts at 2pm AEST on July 22 and is for a limited number of tickets based on a first-come first-served basis.

Whether you've just returned from Europe with a wonky wheel (let's face it, cobblestones and suitcase wheels never go hand-in-hand) or are overdue for a luggage upgrade, you won't be stuck for choice right now.

That's because practically every big brand has ditched the dollars on their bestsellers. Samsonite is leading the charge with 40 per cent off selected cases when you spend $299 or more. If you can't quite meet that price mark, you'll still score 30 per cent off when you spend $149 or more.

They've also got a few best sellers on clearance including the 81cm Oc2Lite in aqua for $249.50 and the 55cm City Rhythm in black for $164.50.

For a wide mix of brands, Myer has taken 40 per cent off their stock of Samsonite, American Tourister, Kadi, Delsey, Monsac and Antler pieces while Amazon Australia has up to 51 per cent off the Samsonite Hi Fi and the American Tourister Curio 2.

Time poor but keen to travel? Inspiring Vacations has thrown return international airfares into a slew of their most popular tours. Those looking to dust off their passports can stay six nights at the InterContinental Bali Resort for $1899 per room or swing by Hotel Royal Hoi An - Gallery for five nights from $849 per room (up to 49 per cent off).

Families taking the kids along for the ride can cash in on Babybee's latest sale. It gets you up to $200 off prams, baby essentials and car seats and includes the new Joey baby carrier for $50 less and my favourite Miles travel pram at $100 off.
