Theragun Mini 2.0 – Handheld Electric Massage Gun, $179 (down from $349) at Amazon Australia

Theragun Mini 2.0 – Handheld Electric Massage Gun

“I recently got my hands on the Theragun Mini 2.0 and it’s already been claimed by a few members of my household. One of Theragun’s most compact massage guns, the Theragun Mini is an easily handheld device that you can slip in an overnight bag or gym bag with no worries. (I could fit this in the front pocket of my overnight backpack, it’s that small.) With three intensity settings and a simple one-button design, this is super easy to navigate, unlike some other massage guns. I’ve loved having this to massage my calves or glutes after an extra hectic workout or run, and the little thing is so quiet that you never have to worry about disturbing anyone. If I still went regularly to a normal gym, I’d feel totally comfortable using this in the stretch area. It also comes with a slim soft case to make it even easier to transport. The best bit? It’s currently 49 per cent off at Amazon, and it’s the perfect gift for a loved one. (My partner is even more obsessed with it than I am, so it’s definitely boyfriend-approved on the gift list.)” – Jessica Smith, Health & Wellness Writer

Ouai Detox Shampoo, $58 at Sephora

Claudia loves the Ouai Detox Shampoo.
Claudia loves the Ouai Detox Shampoo.

“I’m very open about my hair journey. Not only have I been blonde, brown, bleached blonde, bottle-dyed black (so you can imagine the damage), but I also have no idea how to style it. My hair is long, fine, wavy and VERY curly in just a little section at the very back of my head. Suffice to say, I’ll take any help I can get when it comes to products that’ll help me on my hair journey. Enter – the Ouai Detox Shampoo. The website says to use the Detox Shampoo whenever “a deeper cleanse is needed”, think dry shampoo and/or hairspray build up. Even after one wash, my scalp felt cleaner and my hair was smoother than it was pre-detox. It’s also oil-free, paraben-free and sulphate-free and my new best friend when it comes to haircare.” – Claudia Coy, Social Media Producer

The HydroPeptide Micro-Dose Glow Booster.

“This is the first product I’ve tried from the popular brand Hydro Peptide – and let me tell you, I’m keen to try more. I received a mini gift set of the Micro Dose Glow Booster – which is a unique oil-based serum – and the Nimni Cream. The serum is packed with a triple retinoid complex and while I’ve never really enjoyed a retinol oil before, this one really impressed me. Paired with the Nimni Cream which is super nourishing, when I wake up the next morning, my skin looks so even and bouncy. My acne scars don’t look as prominent and I love the glow it gives my skin.” – Marina Tatas, Senior Shopping Writer

Hey Dude Shoes, from $95.92 at Amazon Australia

We love the Hey Dude Shoes.
We love the Hey Dude Shoes.

“I honestly didn’t think I’d like these shoes as much as I do. I’m not one for white shoes and I don’t like a square toe-box. But over time this pair has grown on me, to the point where I find myself reaching for it whenever I need to run an errand. I love the slip on design and the fact that I don’t have to tie up the laces if I don’t want that snug feeling. I also love how lightweight they are. They literally feel like wearing nothing at all. As a result, they’re not fantastic for long walks, but for a pop out to the shops they’re brilliant.” – Stephanie Yip, Travel Writer

We love Never Lie by Freida McFadden.

“I love a good thriller read and recently I’ve been absolutely obsessed with anything written by Freida McFadden. I’ve slowly been getting through her catalogue but earlier in the year, I read Never Lie and I keep catching myself thinking about it. A complete page turner – I read it on holiday and finished it within 24 hours. It leaves you questioning what the truth is, and who is the liar, and it’s brilliantly written. Truly did not see the plot twist coming!” – Marina Tatas, Senior Shopping Writer

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Night Cream, $78 at Myer

The Clarins Hydra-Essential Night Cream
The Clarins Hydra-Essential Night Cream

“When I first started getting into skincare, I was completely overwhelmed by all the information out there. I had no idea where to begin. Should I use retinol? Which moisturiser is best? What even is my skin type? Anyway, after all that trial and error, I’ve fallen in love with the Clarins Hydra-Essential Night Cream. It’s so lightweight and gentle — perfect for sensitive skin. Even my mum, who’s obsessed with skincare, swears by it. And if Mum says it’s good, it’s good. End of discussion.” – Cindy Du, eCommerece Producer

Flush Balm, $48 at Merit Beauty

The Merit Beauty Flush Balm.

“I’m a total convert when it comes to cream blushes as they’re less drying than powder options and look so much better on my skin. Recently I’ve been trying Event Flush Balm and it’s my current fave. I’m using the colour Cheeky which blends well and adds a lovely pinky colour to my cheeks. It feels so soft and moisturising and I particularly love that it comes in a little pot that allows me to apply it straight onto my skin. Such a cute size that fits into my handbag – as well as a rosy hue that brightens my face.” – Susannah Hardy, Partnerships Writer

Wella Ultimate Repair Night Hair Serum, $103 at Myer

Wella Ultimate Repair Night Hair Serum
Wella Ultimate Repair Night Hair Serum

“I’ve been using this repair serum for a bit under a month now and I love it. When it comes to products, my hair gets weighed down very easily and most of the time they just end up not being worth the hassle. My hair will look good for maybe a day and then it starts to feel very greasy very quickly. But, I’m happy to say the Wella Ultimate Repair Night Hair Serum was unlike anything I’ve tried before. I popped it onto the ends of my hair before sleeping and would wake up with the silkiest, softest hair imaginable. As any curly hair girl will know, moisture is our friend and this not only worked to define my curls as I slept but seriously hydrated them too. I’m obsessed.” – Philippa Tonkin, Shopping Writer

OPI Xpress/On Space Jamz Press On Nails Set, $24.95 at Myer

OPI Xpress/On Space Jamz Press On Nails Set
OPI Xpress/On Space Jamz Press On Nails Set

“I have always loved fake nails and nail polish. Growing up it was my favourite part of the school holidays and being able to make them any colour I wanted. As an adult, I have had professional manicures and gotten the acrylics, but I hate the maintenance of going back to get infills, and the cost really adds up quickly. When I discovered OPI (AKA – the kings of nail polish) had a range of glue-on nails, I couldn’t resist. I got the Xpress Space Jamz set which had a purple chrome colouring, and they look amazing. The nails feel strong and tough like traditional acrylics and not like some you’d pull out of a packet.

One downside is the glue isn’t as strong as I’d like, and a couple fell off after two or three days, and while it may come as a given, it’s also very sticky, messy and did leave a couple of smudges on the nails. Once I bought some stronger stuff, they’ve been a dream. Not only do they cost less than a set of acrylics, but once they come off you can stick them back on and get a whole new set again without spending a cent.” – Rosalyn Fannin, SEO Writer

Technics True Wireless Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Earbuds with Magnetic Fluid Driver, $487 at Amazon Australia

Technics True Wireless Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Earbuds with Magnetic Fluid Driver

“Having run my last pair of noise cancelling earbuds through the washing machine (oops!) I was very open (read, desperate) to replace them with whatever new earbuds came my way. As fate would have it, those earbuds were the Technics EAH-AZ100s. While I’d heard of Technics, I’d never owned any of their devices, but after using the EAH-AZ100s for a few weeks now I have to admit I’m a convert. They look badass and sound great, with noise cancelling that’s on par with similarly priced earbuds. But what really makes them stand out is how smoothly they transitioned between devices. A must if you have a tendency to jump between phone, laptop and console throughout the day.” – Stephanie Yip, Travel Writer

“I usually don’t like perfumes as I find they can be too overpowering and make me feel a bit nauseous. But Kate Spade Bloom Eau de Toilette completely changed my mind. It’s light, fresh, and uplifting. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it feels so elegant. If you struggle to find perfumes that don’t feel overwhelming, this one is a must-try!” – Cindy Du, eCommerce Producer

Sleep Well Bed Spray, $45 at Sheet Society

Sheet Society Sleep Well Bed Spray
Sheet Society Sleep Well Bed Spray

“Sheet Society have launched a ‘Sleep Well’ range, designed to do exactly that, and I am obsessed. I recently got a new bed and so going to sleep every night has kind of been the highlight of my days, but Sheet Society’s Bed Spray and Magnesium Balm have taken the experience to a new level. A few spritzers (don’t go overboard, I learnt the hard way) of Bed Spray over your linen and pillowcase, and you’ll be drifting into a cloud of lavender and sandalwood (I get the faint smell of baby powder from this, which is oddly soothing) as soon as you hit the pillow. I’ve also been using the magnesium balm before hopping into bed, massaging a light layer into the heels of my hands and feet, which is such a relaxing bedtime routine in itself. These night-time staples are currently on sale at Sheet Society too, and would make a great gift for anyone who needs a bit of help in their evening wind-down.” – Jessica Smith, Health & Wellness Writer
