Despite it being on my list, I’ve never ended up with one. This is the perfect gift for a couple who is in their self-discovery era. Who are new to the sex tech world – or maybe even new to opening up in sex generally – and are looking for some gentle guidance and additional spice.
It covers all areas, from external stimulation, to compact pleasure, to kinky-ness in the bedroom with a partner and butt play. It’s like the tip of the iceberg for sexual exploration.
If you’re in a relationship like that or know someone who is — I’d say that this is extremely good value and it’s an absolute no-brainer purchase.
However, if you’re someone who is very well-versed in sex tech and well on your pleasure journey, this mightn’t be the purchase for you because you’ll likely have a version of these beauties in your bedroom drawer already.
That being said, there are lots of amazing things in this set that I’d never go out of my way to buy. It can be daunting encouraging newness in the bedroom when you’re in a long-term relationship, but this calendar is a great activity you can do together; giving you an opportunity to have conversations and explore together.
I love that things like the card game and satin restraint are included; that sit outside the sex tech / toy world and offer something different.
I’d say it’s very good value for money as you get a huge amount of variety for only $169. Good sex tech is (rightfully) expensive, so this Lovehoney X We-Vibe Romance Advent Calendar 2024 is absolutely worth it if you’re wanting to try a bunch of things before going all in. Just think of it as ordering tapas instead of an entire meal! You get to try it all!
Honest verdict: Should you buy it?
I think that Lovehoney Advent Calendars are absolutely worth it. The act of opening something sexy every day before Christmas will get you into moods you didn’t know you were capable of in silly season.
