No longer banished to the home, the early 2000s trend is back in a big way with celebrities like Emily Ratajkowski and Kendall Jenner spotted wearing them.
They’ve taken off on TikTok too, with videos on how to style them with everything from activewear to workwear racking up millions of views.
Stylist Donny Galella told news.com.au checkout he wasn’t surprised to see uggs had surged in popularity.
“Right now in fashion all things Y2K are trending, so it’s perfect timing for the ugg to make its comeback,” he said.
“Dua Lipa, Kendall Jenner and Irina Shayk have all been spotted wearing them. They have been spotted wearing a cropped ‘Ultra Mini’ style rather than the longer style that was famous in Y2K.”

They are so toasty and comfortable, have a cute stitch detail on the back and are surprisingly easy to walk in given they have a chunky platform sole, plus the sheepskin lining makes it feel like I’m walking on clouds.
