• Length: Boots come in lengths from ankle height to thigh-high. Ankle styles are great for wearing through the warmer seasons as well, while longer knee-height styles are super wintry.

• Colour: Consider which colour will go best with your wardrobe – personally, I feel that you can’t go wrong with one black pair, and one tan, nude or brown pair. Add some extra flair with a print or bold colour.
• Budget: As previously mentioned, a leather boot will last you longer, but you’ll have to fork out extra. If you don’t mind a boot with a shorter life, synthetic or faux leather materials will save you money.
