DO I STILL NEED AEQUATE SUPPORT FROM A SPORTS BRA IF I HAVE SMALLER BUST?
No matter your bust size, feeling supported should be front of mind when choosing a sports bra. “Feeling comfortable and supported is incredibly important when you are training,” says Rebecca. “We’re starting to see more and more women opting to train in only their sports crop, so having something that fits well, is supportive and looks good is essential.
HOW CAN WOMEN MEASURE THEIR CUP SIZE?
“You can get your size measured at most specialty bra stores, however, there are certainly ways to ensure you are getting an accurate size if you’re online shopping and getting professionally fitted may not be an option. Often the smaller cup and low support styles are sized based on regular clothing fits (small, medium and large or eight, 10, 12, etc). Generally speaking here, whatever size you are in a fitted top is often the size you need in a sports crop, however, some styles are based on traditional bra sizing, so you can also find your perfect fit that way. When shopping online, it’s important to make use of the size guides and check your measurements, as sizing can differ per product and brand.”
