Teenagers armed with machetes were involved in a bloody triple stabbing in the carpark of a La Porchetta restaurant on Saturday morning.

Detectives have been told a blue Holden Barina pulled up to the carpark of the Ballarat Rd restaurant in Braybrook before three teenage boys were allegedly stabbed during a fight about 1am.

“It’s believed an altercation between the occupants inside the vehicle, who were armed with machetes and another group of youths occurred,” police said in a statement.

“Investigators have been told that three youths were stabbed during the incident.”

The Holden Barina and the occupants of that car fled the scene and were on Saturday being hunted by the Maribyrnong CIU.

A 17-year-old boy was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An 18-year old and a 17-year-old were treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

Investigations remain ongoing and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
