Thieves stall Ferrari during car stealing spree in Truganina

Footage has emerged of a group of thieves who made off with four cars in a little over 24 hours in Melbourne’s west, including a half-a-million dollar Ferrari they had trouble driving.

Police are on the hunt for a group of thieves who made off with four cars in a little over 24 hours including a half-a-million dollar Ferrari they appeared to have trouble driving.

A group of three targeted the Truganina area, first hitting a Cottee Rd property about 1.40am on Wednesday, January 29.

The group gained access to the home through an open garage and stole a 2010 white Toyota RAV4 wagon and a 2012 maroon Toyota Kluger.

They then set their sights on an Everton Rd home which they broke into sometime between 2 and 9am.

A Lexus was one of the four cars stolen.

The group also stole a Toyota Kluger.

They stole headphones and a wallet before grabbing the victim’s keys and making off with their 2014 white Lexus.

Police have also released footage from around 2am on Thursday, which shows four people enter a home on Semaphore Rd, arriving in a stolen Lexus GS250.

The group can be seen on CCTV walking up to the home, before two flee on foot before the other two people reverse a black Ferrari out of the driveway.

The thieves appeared to stall the Ferrari several times.

The duo’s phones can clearly be seen flashing around inside the car as they are stuck in the middle of the road.

The 2012 Toyota Kluger has since been recovered on Berkshire Ave in Truganina, but the other three vehicles are still missing.
