Disgraced former AFL player agent Ricky Nixon has been charged over an incident.
Victoria Police’s specialised public order response team charged the fallen football identity turned health salesman over the incident.
Police said officers allege a man was assaulted by another man on Bay St in Port Melbourne on March 10 about 10.40am.
Nixon is listed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court for a mention hearing on December 13.
He hung up on the Herald Sun when approached for comment.
In July, the Herald Sun exposed Nixon after he had been slammed by doctors for pushing unproven intravenous infusion treatments to vulnerable Victorians.
He was offering IV Infusions for $350 for those who “want a totally revitalised life and feel”, which experts said were potentially dangerous.
Other media outlets followed the story the next day, which led to an ugly confrontation between Nixon and Channel 9 reporter Seb Costello.
Police investigated the incident but no charges were laid.
