A woman has been charged with a raft of offences relating to historic sexual assaults that allegedly took place at a Sale school.

A woman has been charged with a raft of offences relating to alleged historical sex assaults.
Detectives from the Sexual Crimes Squad allege a 12-year-old child, whose gender is unknown, was assaulted multiple times at a Sale school in 1999.
Police allege the assaults took place over a 12-month period.
“The matter was reported to police in 2021 and an investigation commenced,” a police spokeswoman said.
A Hoppers Crossing woman, 51, has been charged with 26 offences including indecent assault and sexual penetration of a child under 16.
The woman was charged on summons and is expected to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on November 25.
