A plane flipped while landing in Melbourne’s southeast on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports of the incident on French Island, 60km southeast of Melbourne, about 2.20pm.
A pilot and two passengers were on board at the time.
A man believed to be in his 60s was treated for lacerations and a leg injury.
Ambulance Victoria said the man was in a stable condition and will be flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital by air ambulance.
Victoria Police said: “It’s understood a plane landed on a landing strip and the plane flipped. The exact cause is not known at this stage.”
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau will gather further information about the circumstances of the incident.
