Charges have not been upgraded over the death of a man after a Crown casino food court fight.

The homicide squad was called in March to investigate after the 29-year-old man died in hospital after an altercation.

A 26-year-old man from the Geelong suburb of Highton was initially charged with recklessly causing serious injury and that remains in place.

Three men were allegedly involved in a fracas in the food court at 12.20am on March 20.

The Herald Sun has been told there are multiple CCTV camera angles capturing the fight.

The cause of the victim’s death has not been made publicly known.

The Highton man is on bail to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later this month.

A 29-year-old Colac man was in March released pending further inquiries.

A number of patrons and staff have been spoken to by investigators about what they saw.
