Kayaker dies after getting into trouble near Rosebud Pier
A man who ran into difficulty while paddling an inflatable kayak almost 800m offshore has been found dead.

A man has died after he fell out of a kayak off the Mornington Peninsula on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to Rosebud Pier just after 3.30pm after reports a man on an inflatable kayak was in difficulty 300 to 800 metres offshore.
The man was seen going into the water and a major search operation was launched.
He was found dead around 5.30pm.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
