More crazy footage has emerged of a group of dirt bike riders driving dangerously on a major Melbourne highway over the weekend.
The footage – filmed from a nearby ute – shows up to four riders driving dangerously, with two performing wheelies for hundreds of metres.
It appears at least one of the riders was not wearing a helmet.
Victoria Police slammed the behaviour and issued a stern warning to those who put other road users at risk.
“Police are aware of vision circulating on social media showing a number of off-road motorcycles being ridden dangerously on the Western Highway,” a statement read.
“There is absolutely no place for this kind of behaviour on our roads.
“Reckless behaviour that puts other road users at risk will not be tolerated.
“Police are regularly enforcing on Melbourne’s major roads and highways, so anyone thinking of engaging in this behaviour can be assured that we will find you, seize your bike and lay charges where appropriate.
“Anyone with information on any illegal dirt bike or hooning activity should contact Crime Stoppers.”
It comes after at least 20 youths were filmed riding dirt bikes erratically along the Tullamarine Freeway.
Those youths were filmed doing wheelies, standing up on their bikes while driving and swerving through lanes of traffic.
Police attended the area but were unable to locate any of them.
