From PB’s to multiple meet records, the NSW All Schools athletics meet at Sydney Olympic Park had it all. Stars, standouts and result wrap at the end of day four.

A record that stood for 31 years and another for two decades were among the extraordinary performances at the four-day NSW All Schools athletics championships at Sydney Olympic Park.
The annual event saw a raft of records broken and PBs galore as more than 2000 young athletes competed at the event.
There were numerous multiple medallists across both the track and the field.
The event also saw a new wave of athletes in the limelight along with many who were tipped expected to shine.

TWO BIG RECORDS IN 800 METRE RACING
Ivy Boothroyd saved her best for last, running off with a meet record in the 800m for 15 years on Tuesday.
Boothroyd, a student at Endeavour Sports High, broke the 2015 record of 2:07.63 set by Catherine Miller in the race.

Also making a mark on the final day was Daniel Williams in the 800m for 15 Years
He bettered the meet record of 1:54.92, set in 2020 by Trinity Grammars Michael King, to take the title in convincing fashion.

STARS AND STANDOUTS AT THE NSW ALL SCHOOLS 2022
When it comes to big improvers Australian hammer throw champion Alex Goetz takes the cake.
He came into the event with a discus PB of 47.81m and left it with a PB of 59.32m.
Little Rhema Adelaja turned plenty of heads at the meet.
Competing for the first time at the All Schools, she won the 100m, the 200m and her hurdles event.
From St George Christian School she has stamped herself as a star of the future.
It was two wins from two starts - and two records - for Matthew McLachlan
He broke the 1500m record in his age group on day two and then slashed almost seven seconds from the 3000m standard with his 8:53.94.
Xavier Perry came to the event as a man on a mission and he left it with a trifecta of gold medals.
The 14-year-old, who wants to compete in the international arena for Australia one day, won the 100m, 200m and 400m at the event.
He also bettered his dad’s meet record in the 400m.
Coffs Harbour’s Hayley Kitching was on fire at her last All Schools.
The under-the-weather talented runner, heading to the US next year, broke a 31 years old record with her run in the 800m for 19 years.
She beat Suzy Walsham’s 19-years 800m record with her time of 2:09.58.
Sebastian Sultana was a standout with a record in the 100m race on Saturday and another in the 200m.
Sultana broke the 200m 17 years record of 21.28 set way back in 2002 by Jacob Groth.
Another record breaker was Ada Rand who won the 17-years 1500m win in 4:22.83.
Shari Hurdman also stood out after she took five seconds off her PB in the 400m.
Hurdling duo Joshua Kalozi and Rashid Kabba also both finished under the meet record in their 17 years hurdles racing.
