Albury-Wodonga has made an early statement of intent at the Country Leagues Football Association Championships in Ballarat.
The border region sits atop both the Under-18 boys and Under-16/18 girls divisions after enjoying an undefeated start to the tournament on Saturday.

Both sides went 2-0 to start the championships in Ballarat, with the girls side knocking off hometown side Ballarat 3-1 in their opening game of the tournament before backing it up with a 2-1 win over Latrobe Valley.
The boys Under-18 side also defeated Ballarat in their opening game of the tournament, before getting a strong 2-0 win over South West Victoria.

Albury-Wodonga are also leading the way in the Under-12 Boys Division A competition and sit second behind Ballarat in the Under-13 boys after day one.
