Jamie Elliott hits the track as Collingwood trains in summer heat
Collingwood fell five points short of a fairytale premiership. Jamie Elliott was missing that day after booting 34 goals in 2017 then missed the entire 2018 season with injury. So this is a very welcome sight.

Remember this guy, Collingwood fans?
Forward Jamie Elliott is the Magpies’ forgotten man after missing the entire 2018 season as the Pies charged to the Grand Final.
The 26-year-old won the club goalkicking in 2017 before last season was derailed by ankle surgery and hamstring problems.

That’s why these images will warm the hearts of Magpie fans looking for a way to go one better in 2019.
Elliott looked in great shape as the full Magpies squad trained in the summer heat today, taking part in running drills and ball work in a pair of flashy pink boots.

Boom recruit Darcy Moore and top draft pick Isaac Quaynor were among the other Pies to catch the eye at the Holden Centre.
Elliott and Darcy Moore have just returned from Germany, where they visited world-renowned hamstring specialist Dr Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt.
Collingwood hopes the trip will be a circuit-breaker in both players’ injury-plagued careers.
The Pies needed just one more goal to claim the 2019 premiership. Given Elliott has kicked 30-plus goals in every season he has managed more than 15 games, keeping him on the park will be a priority next year.
