YOU can’t win SuperCoach without Patrick Dangerfield. The question of when to get him is another question.
Dangerfield was the No.1 ranked player in the game for the past two seasons, averaging 132 and 136 points a game. There’s a strong chance he gets back to that level this year, but so far he is still finding his feet after missing the first round with a hamstring injury.

He has scored 130, 100 and 103 and is currently the 18th-highest scoring player with a 111 average — a bit underwhelming for the 35,000 coaches who paid top dollar ($749,800) for the Cats superstar.
Everyone else is keen to grab him, the question is when.
After scoring 103 in his third game yesterday his price was slashed by $48,200, and with a break-even score of 209 against Port Adelaide this weekend he is set to lose another $36,000 (bearing in mind he averages 137 from his past three games against the Power, including a 163 last year).
If he continues scoring around the 115-130 mark Dangerfield will keep bleeding cash almost all the way until the Cats’ Round 14 bye. Can we wait that long?
SuperCoach Stats has him bottoming out at $605,000 in Round 11, but the biggest drops are in the next two weeks. Start saving and if you can get $650k together he could be the recruit of the year before the Cats face GWS in Round 7. Conveniently, the Giants are his favourite opponent with a career average of 130.
