Don't miss out on the headlines from Supercoach. Followed categories will be added to My News.
FINALLY, we can all relax.
The byes are over and normal SuperCoach planning and preparation can resume.
The first point of business is identifying the players who are coming off the bye that you want in your side.
There were some big names who enjoyed a week off last round, perhaps none bigger than Collingwood scoring machine Scott Pendlebury. The star Magpie will be back in action this week, along with teammate Adam Treloar.
ROUND 13: SUPERCOACH STUDS AND DUDS
LADDER PREDICTOR: YOUR CLUB’S RUN HOME
LADDER PREDICTOR: WILL THE BULLDOGS MISS FINALS?
While Treloar and Pendlebury have been a little up and down this season, they are both averaging over 100 and must be looked at.
Add to that list Essendon’s Zach Merrett. The star Bomber is only in 17,000 teams and could prove to be a vital point of difference down the stretch and into finals.
He will set you back $568,300 and is averaging 112 points.
If you need a cash injection, head west and take a look at Fremantle’s Luke Ryan.
For one more week he will cost just $117,300 and is averaging 62. With a breakeven of -55, he is set for a massive jump in price next week.
Collingwood’s Callum Brown can also be looked at as an option.
While Brown isn’t on the bubble, he did enough to keep his spot in the Magpies team.
Meanwhile, will anyone throw the captain tag on Bryce Gibbs this week?
He is coming off a monster performance against the Gold Coast, scoring a round-high 206 points.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: BRYCE GIBBS
Gibbs put in one of the performances of the season against the Suns, collecting a whopping 208 SuperCoach points on the back of a match-winning final term, scoring 81 points in that quarter. Of his match tally of 43 disposals, 31 were effective and he also recorded seven clearances, 10 tackles, two goals and two score assists from 87 per cent game time.
CHAMPION DATA MARKET WATCH
Tom Lynch
Lynch had no impact against the Blues on the weekend and was held goalless for the third time this season. Recording his second-lowest SuperCoach tally of the season (35), he could manage only 10 disposals and a season-low one mark (although it was contested). Lynch was also involved in only four scoring chains.
Dom Sheed
Sheed was West Coast’s top-ranked player after scoring 127 SuperCoach points, spiking in price by $35,900. He hit the target with 17 of 22 disposals, also recording 11 contested possessions, six tackles, one score assist and two goals straight from just 69 per cent game time. Sheed was also involved in five scoring chains.
Alex Rance
Rance’s battle with Lance Franklin was one for the ages. With just eight SuperCoach points to his name at halftime, Rance finished with 109 on the back of an exceptional second half. Rance finished with 17 effective disposals and an equal game-high 12 intercept possessions, of which seven were intercept marks.
YOUNG GUN: SAM POWELL-PEPPER
Powell-Pepper continues to reward his owners with another 85 SuperCoach points, enjoying his 10th consecutive price rise. He finished with 16 disposals, 12 contested possessions, five tackles and three inside-50s from 64 per cent game time. Powell-Pepper was also one of six multiple goalscorers for the Power with two goals.
