Ray White Cheltenham chief auctioneer and Belle Property St Kilda director Sam Inan have been crowned as some of the top real estate agents in Melbourne’s inner south over the past 12 months.
It comes after the state’s biggest deal makers who inked the highest number of sales, as well as those with the top averagesale prices for the year were revealed in the Herald Sun’s top 50 agent rankings.

Real estate agents across the state were ranked based on their reported sales to realestate.com.au between April 2022 and March 2023, but not including off-market, private or undisclosed deals.
The top inner-south brokers notched dozens of sales and multimillion-dollar deals across suburbs such as Brighton, Bentleigh and Hampton East, despite tough market conditions due to tight stock levels, building company collapses, and interest rate hikes.
PropTrack economist Angus Moore said property activity had been particularly quiet in 2023 in comparison to the start of 2022.
“The number of new listing on realestate.com.au in April was down about 23.5 per cent (nationally) compared to a year ago,” Mr Moore said.
“So we are seeing a little bit less in terms of new stock hitting the market, and a bit less in terms of property turnoverand market activity.”
