Harkaway house party halted by police, 16 teens arrested
A huge police presence was called in to end an out-of-control house party in Melbourne’s southeast at 5.30am on Tuesday. Significant damage was done to the luxury property, which the teens had broken into.

Sixteen teenagers have been arrested after a wild house party in Melbourne’s southeast this morning.
Police were called to Rowallan Ave in Harkaway, near Narre Warren, about 5.30am this morning.

Upon arrival police discovered significant damage to the property, which was broken into.
Fourteen police units including the dog squad were called in and sixteen arrests were made.
Boys and girls aged between 16 and 19 were arrested.
The house was available for hire but was vacant at the time and not rented to those involved.
