Victorian lottery hot spots revealed
Want to win the lottery? It pays to be Victorian. But which suburbs are the lucky Lotto hot spots? Ahead of this week’s $60 mil Powerball prize, the top Lott spots are revealed.

Victoria may be the lucky lotto state, but some suburbs are more likely than others to produce winners.
For the fourth year in a row, Victoria had the most division one lottery wins over the past 12 months.
117 division one winning entries were sold in Victoria, delivering more than $257.4 mil in prize money.
Three Melbourne postcodes each sold three division one wins – with 3021 (St Albans)’s three wins totalling $27,696,375.67, 3029 (Hoppers Crossing and Tarneit)’s totalling $4,197,455.53, and 3000 (Melbourne) totalling $3,666,666.67.
52 Victorians became millionaires thanks to Lotto wins in 2019.
Time will tell if these three lottery hot spots will be among the big winners of this week’s $60 mil Powerball prize.
The Lott spokesman Matt Hart said that it could be anyone’s game.
“While lottery wins can land anywhere, we do see clusters of wins emerge from time to time. It will be interesting to see if any of these Lottery Hotspots maintain their reputations and deliver for one of their residents on Thursday night!” he said.
“Some people will hunt down outlets and areas that have a track record of recent division one wins, while others will avoid these in the belief that lightning won’t strike twice.
“While it’s exciting to reveal where the most division one wins have occurred, it’s important to remember that lottery games are entertaining games of chance and every number on your ticket has an equal chance of being drawn, no matter where you buy your ticket.|
