A veteran truckie has captured a scary three car smash east of Melbourne, showing off his real skill by weaving between the crashed cars. And he’s got a big tip for drivers.

A veteran truck driver has shown his expertise by navigating through a three car smash on a wet highway east of Melbourne.
The terrifying footage, captured on the Warburton Hwy at Launching Place, shows two cars hit before a third is caught up in the crash.
Just metres behind, the truck driver maneuvers through the wreckage and spinning cars, avoiding all three.

Truck driver Dave Lynch told Neil Mitchell on 3AW he helped pull a toddler out of a vehicle after steering through the wreckage.
But he said experience taught him you have no control over a vehicle if it starts sliding, and how to manage an incident like this one.
“I’ve been driving for over 40 years in trucks, so (it was) a bit of skill and probably a hell of a lot of luck,” he said.
“I’ve been driving long enough to know you don’t hit your brakes on wet roads, you just steer the truck, steer the vehicle around them if you can.”
