Channel Nine’s chief footy reporter Tom Morris may be used to posing in front of the camera with his trademark smile, but it seems his new-found acting skills could use a bit more work.

Putting the squeeze on Victoria’s movers, shakers and headline makers
Footy reporter Tom Morris is used to posing in front of the camera but he’s added a surprise mix to his repertoire — acting.
Morris has popped up as the frontman in an ad campaign for Briggins Clothing, awkwardly trying to look natural as he models an array of suits.
The Ringwood suit shop (“Briggins provides made-to-measure suits for the modern Melbourne man”) has Morris appearing in the brand’s showroom, playing table tennis and clutching a beer, while flicking through a catalogue of designs.
The Channel 9 chief footy reporter transforms in kits from day to night — black tie to full white and, of course, all while flashing his pearly whites.
Morris has never been shy about trying something new: just recently he chased down an interview subject and almost tripped over his dog.
Currently on the cricket circuit for SEN, Morris’ new gig may be shortlived judging by some of the comments questioning if his endorsement would encourage or discourage interest.
Morris even appears on the Briggins’ website’s home page with a glowing customer testimonial — “This was the best suit fitting experience I’ve ever had! And I’ve had my fair share.’’
