Seven die on Victorian roads over weekend
A MALE pedestrian has died after being struck by a motorbike in Melbourne’s inner-west overnight, the seventh person killed on Victorian `roads since Friday.

A MALE pedestrian has died after being hit by a motorbike in Melbourne’s inner west overnight.
The man’s death was the seventh in a horror three days on Victorian roads.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Belinda Batty said the pedestrian was hit and killed on Moore Street, Footscray about 12.30am.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene with serious head, chest and leg injuries.
He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition but died a short time later.
The male motorcyclist aged in his 20s was also taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Six people died in other crashes in Victoria since Friday.
A 51-year-old Clyde North woman died in a two-car collision in Dandenong South on Sunday night, while three foreigners lost their lives in a devastating crash in Dingwall, near Kerang, just after midnight Sunday.
Two men died in Ballarat East early Friday after their car struck a tree.
The deaths take the Victorian road toll to 168, compared to 201 fatalities this time last year.
