SEN boss Craig Hutchison cuts newsreader
CRAIG Hutchison has slashed again with a sports newsreader the latest shown the door after almost nine years, ahead of next week’s debut of the station’s fresh line-up.

CRAIG Hutchison has wielded the knife again, with sports newsreader Brett Thomas the latest to be shown the door at SEN.
The SportsSENtral newsreader, who was heard in the afternoons, has been sacked, the Herald Sun has confirmed.
The details were expected to be announced in a statement later today.
Thomas has been at the station for almost nine years.

“Have worked for the past five years as the afternoon news reader for SportSENtral with stints on the road as well,” his LinkedIn profile says.
“Commentate, host, produced there isn’t a role I haven’t done at SEN.”
He joins footy caller Matt Granland and general manager Cathy Thomas who were both recently shown the door.
Ms Thomas, who had been in charge of the sports station for the past 18 months, was told her position had been made redundant.
Other Hutchison sackings include long-time evening host Mark Fine, veteran regular weekend presenter Kevin Hillier and former afternoon hosts David Schwarz and Mark Allen
The complete new line-up at SEN will be in place next week when major signing Gerard Whateley kicks off in the morning time slot.
Whateley replaces Kevin Bartlett in the 9am to midday time slot — Monday to Thursday — while also taking up the position of the station’s chief sports caller.
Bartlett started his new afternoon show (3pm-6pm) on Monday alongside co-host alongside Dr Turf (John Rothfield).
Andy Maher has returned to the station again for the 12pm-3pm slot, replacing Francis Leach while CrocMedia’s Jack Heverin has come in to replace Fine.
AFLW star Daisy Pearce is the latest station signing.
Pearce, 29, will play a number of roles across SEN, including as an expert commentator on match days.
