Stripper Robyn Lindholm sentenced for second ‘Black Widow’ murder

A stripper ex-squeeze of gangland thug Alphonse Gangitano blew a kiss in court after being convicted of her second murder. Known as the ‘Black Widow’, ruthless Robyn Lindholm enlisted besotted men to kill for her.

Ex-stripper Robyn Lindholm will be aged 71 before she will have a chance at freedom after being convicted over the cold case murder of her fiance – her second killing of a man she was meant to love.

Lindholm, 46, known as the Black Widow, was already serving a minimum term of 21 years for killing her partner Wayne Amey in 2013.

Today Supreme Court judge Christopher Beale added another nine years to that minimum for the murder of George Teazis, 38, also known as George Templeton, in May 2005.

He sentenced her to 28 years jail, with 14 years to be served concurrently on the 25-year term she is serving for Mr Amey’s death.

The femme fatale stared ahead with little emotion as Justice Beale told her: “You will be 71 when you first become eligible for parole.”

He added that she would be 80 by the time she had completed both sentences.

As she was lead off back to custody, she smiled and blew a kiss to her supporters in court.

Lindholm had admitted killing Mr Amey, 54, but remained adamant she had nothing to do with the disappearance of Mr Teazis, who was her fiance and partner of seven years.

The ruthless seductress, who once dated gangland figure Alphonse Gangitano, was not charged with Mr Teazis’ death until 2016.

His body has never been found.

A jury found her guilty of Mr Teazis’ murder after hearing the prosecution case against her in that she enlisted Mr Amey to kill him in his Reservoir home so they could live happily ever after together.

The pair moved in together into Mr Amey’s mansion in Hawthorn soon after, but she continued a ruse to Mr Teazis’ family that he had simply disappeared overnight on May 3, 2005, after consuming alcohol on the anniversary of his father’s death.

“You were enjoying the high life at the expense of your former de facto,” Justice Beale said. “But things eventually turned sour.”

In 2013, she arranged another lover, Torsten “Toots” Trabert, and John Ryan to kill Mr Amey.

Justice Beale remarked how the pain of Mr Teazis’ family had been worsened by not knowing what had happened to him in his last moments, or where his body lay.

But he told Lindholm – an exotic dancer, who had a stage name of “Colette” – no sentence imposed would undo “the terrible consequences of your crime”.

At a hearing last month, Mr Teazis’ sister-in-law Deborah Teazis eyeballed Lindholm in court as she read out a powerful statement on how not knowing what had happened to the seafood-loving father-of-two had “devastated” the family.

“It’s never too late to tell the truth,” Ms Teazis urged Lindholm. “It’s never too late to show you have compassion.

“You have an opportunity to do something right and tell us where George’s body is. Give him some peace in death.”

A new parole period of 30 years means her earliest chance at release would be in 2044.
