A man with alleged bikie links remains on the run more than 24 hours after two police officers were injured when their car rolled during a wild chase in the state’s north.

Police were called to a property in Katandra West – a small town in the regional city of Shepparton – just after midday on Monday to arrest Stanley Turvey.

Mr Turvey approached police outside the home with a firearm, which he reportedly fired twice, before fleeing in a vehicle and undertaking a wild cross-border crime spree.

The Herald Sun can now reveal Mr Turvey regularly boasts about being part of the Finks OMCG in a series of disturbing posts to social media.

In another video posted to Facebook, Turvey could be seen holding a dog’s leash which is tied to a collar around a man’s neck. He appears to hold a knife in the other hand.

Turvey shouts orders at the man, who is on all fours, and pulls the leash sharply if the man does not comply with his abhorrent instructions. He also threatens to cut the man’s tongue out.

Other unsettling Facebook activity appears to make threats toward an unidentified man, asking to meet in Shepparton for a gunfight.

“Any time you want to have a go, come to Shepparton,” the post reads.

“Bring whoever you like and whatever little cap gun you like because if you don’t pull the trigger and kill me, I’ll bash you to death really f—- easy.”

In February, Turvey also claimed to be part of the Finks OMCG, plastering photos of dead bikie boss Brent Reker on his public page.

“That’s my big brother… Finks MC Australia is my club and my brother is my fam,” he posted.

“I’ll give my life to back up my brother and have a happy death.”

Police in 2017 and 2018 issued warrants for his arrest, wanted for failing to appear at court and firearms offences.

The distrubing revelations follow witness reports on Monday that at least seven police vehicles pursued Mr Turvey in what they described to be high-speed chase.

“A short time later, a police unit lost control and rolled on Creighton Road in Katandra West,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.

“Both officers received minor injuries and were taken to hospital for observation.”

Mr Turvey is believed to have stopped at a residence in Youanmite where he forced a man to drive him across the border to Finley, New South Wales.

Mr Turvey remains on the run as of Tuesday afternoon, travelling in a stolen white Toyota Hi-Lux dual cab with registration 1RA-8AN, after an armed robbery near the state’s border.

It’s alleged he assaulted a woman and stole the vehicle at Witt St, Yarrawonga about 10am while armed with a firearm.

Victoria Police on Tuesday confirmed it had beefed up their presence near the state’s border where Mr Turvey was last seen.

Superintendent Paul Henry said the presence of a firearm makes the situation “highly volatile and dangerous” for all involved.

“It is for that reason that we have deployed additional police in the northeast of Victoria to support and plan for a successful and safe resolution for the safety of the Victorian public,” he said.

“We are asking that Stanley consider contacting triple zero in order to develop a successful surrender plan that will ensure his safety, the safety of the Victorian public and the police at large”.

People are advised not to approach Mr Turvey or the vehicle if seen.

Mr Turvey has distinctive face tattoos, including the word “Family” inked above his left eyebrow.

Members of the public are advised not to approach Mr Turvey if they see him, but to contact Triple 0 immediately.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
