What: Kinley development at old quarry site
What’s to come: The second-largest development precinct in Melbourne behind Fishermans Bend will see the addition of 3200 new homes for 8000 people.

What: Croydon Community School
What’s to come: In the 2017-18 state budget, $7m was allocated for Croydon Community School. The project is in the planning stages and subject to future budget funding.

What: Research Primary School
What’s to come: Planning funding has been allocated to develop a master plan for Research Primary School. In the 2018/19 state budget, $17.2m was allocated for this school.

What: Jubilee Park revamp
What’s to come: A $2m redevelopment that’ll boost cricket facilities and add office spaces to allow Cricket Australia to establish its Eastern Metro Zone headquarters.
BOX HILL
What: Prospect St skyscrapers
What’s to come: Two proposals to build skyscrapers along Prospect St, Box Hill, including a $66m development by Axion Development Pty of 194 apartments, office spaces, shops and cafes.

BLACKBURN
What: New Whitehorse Rd complex
What’s to come: Pace Development Group is behind a new two-tower, 125 apartment complex at 160 Whitehorse Rd, Blackburn, which will include a lap pool, kids pool, BBQ facilities, private dining room and library.
GLEN WAVERLEY
What: Sky Garden at The Glen
What’s to come: A $450m redevelopment of The Glen shopping centre, including a 4000 sqm rooftop garden, 555 apartments, pool and wellness centre.
