The search for a missing Frankston mother and son has been scaled down days after their empty boat was found submerged in Port Phillip Bay.
Water Police have found no signs of life since locating an abandoned tinnie belonging to Felicity Loveday, 83, and Adrian Meneveau, 56 on Sunday morning.
Police confirmed the search would continue today but has been scaled down pending new information.
The pair told family on December 11 that they were setting out for a few days on their small tinnie.
They were last seen at Olivers Hill boat ramp in Frankston about 7am that day.
Mr Meneveau last spoke to family via text on December 13, saying he and his mother were having a good time.
However there has been no further contact from the mother and son.
Their boat was found submerged in the waters near Ricketts Point – more than 20km from where they set off.
Investigators on Sunday collected evidence from the boat including a black pair of shoes and a pink top.
