More than 100 Mongol bikies have descended on Echuca to celebrate the birthday of gang boss Toby Mitchell.
The OMCG president took to Instagram on Saturday as his brothers converged on the Murray River town – a Mongol stronghold – to mark his 46th year.
“Over 130 brothers riding for my bday party tonight,” he wrote.
Footage captured a sea of bikies in gang leathers cruising through town and drinking shots in the street.
They had earlier been seen travelling through small country towns, including Heathcote.
Mitchell was also presented with a cake decorated with some of his favourite things; the Mongols, Harley Davidson motorcycles, Rolex watches, Grey Goose vodka and thick stacks of cash.
There was a significant police presence in the area over the weekend, including Echo Task force members.
On Sunday Mitchell posted a photo of himself recovering in bed in his suite overlooking the Murray River.
Echuca is a prized area for the Mongols and regarded by police as being of strategic importance in the OMCG world.
The town was previously dominated by the Bandidos but they have patched over to the Mongols in recent years.
Their clubhouse in Echuca was raided by Echo officers earlier this year as part of a major investigation into alleged drug trafficking by members and associates further along the river at Cobram.
Victoria Police said it was aware of the run and that it was being watched.
“Echo Task force detectives, along with a number of specialist and local police, will closely monitor the run and will take swift action in the event any OMCG members involved in the event commit criminal, road safety or public order offences,” a statement from the force said
