A Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang member has been busted with drugs and prohibited weapons.
The Echo Taskforce arrested the bikie – aged 34 from South Morang – during a Firearm Prohibition Order (FPO) compliance search on Tuesday.
Detectives searched a Darius Terrace address where they allegedly found cocaine, steroids, prescription drugs, an extendible baton and credit cards.
The bikie was charged with possess drug of dependence, possess schedule 4 poison without authority, possess prohibited weapon, negligently deal with the proceeds of crime, unlawful possession of audio or audio visual police recording and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
He will appear at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court Tuesday afternoon.
His arrest is the latest drama revolving around the Mongols.
Days ago it emerged notorious underworld figure Toby Mitchell had suddenly left the club.
It’s understood Nick “The Knife” Forbes is now national president and Phil Main is the national sergeant-at-arms.
Mitchell is now a free agent.
