Insane stunts and world-renowned illusionists will take centre stage as one of Victoria’s longest-running community festivals reaches new heights.
The Melbourne Royal Show has opened its barn doors again for 2025, with kids able to get up close with thousands of animals at the new Little Farmers Field, where they can shear a sheep, feed baby animals and ride mini tractors.

Carnival classics and gourmet treats will be available across more than 84 food and beverage stalls, with $3.50 sausages and $4 toasties. Every food truck will carry healthy options for under $10.
“The addition of the LEGO Playland, The Night of the Horse Arena Spectacular and The Little Farmers Field will offer amazing free new attractions for 2025,” Melbourne Royal Executive General Manager of Marketing and Membership Sam Buckley said.
“We are thrilled with advance ticket sales for 2025 and look forward to welcoming over 400,000 people through the gates.”
Since 1848, the event has delighted Victorians, showcasing the best of our agricultural industry alongside the more modern rides and showbags beloved by children. More than 400,000 people are expected to flood into the Melbourne Showgrounds to make the most of the spring school holidays.
More than 400+ showbags and 55 rides will be operating across the 11-day event until October 5.
