Melbourne billionaire Adrian Portelli and his mates threw a wild penthouse party over the weekend which resulted in a noise complaint to police.

The bash was to celebrate the launch of a new flavour of Gee Up, an alcoholic based drink which contains electrolytes.

The company is primarily owned by Portelli’s business partner and friend, Troy ‘Candy’ Williams. Portelli also invested in the business earlier this year.

Videos on social media show wild scenes from the exclusive event, including Portelli throwing handfuls of a giant cake onto guests and frolicking on the shoulders of partygoers.

The penthouse was doused in pink to commemorate the new bubblegum flavour with Gee Up stickers plastered on Lamborghinis parked down the street.

Sydney artists The Brothers the DJ Orkestrated also performed at the event.

Danny Grant, who is also a co-owner of the alcohol business, said more than 200 of Australia’s most famous and wealthiest influencers attended the party.

“People flew in from all over the country – celebrities, influencers, reality TV stars, millionaires, billionaires,” he said.

“It was the most exclusive party the boys have ever thrown, it was strictly invite only.”

Mr Grant said Portelli and Candy threw the party in an “unfinished penthouse”.

It is believed the party was at The Adderley in West Melbourne.

“Adrian and Troy paid the property developers $20,000 to let them use the space,” he said.

“The police came at about 10.30pm and the party wrapped up around 11pm.”

Portelli owns more than 20 properties across Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia and is entering into developments in New South Wales.

He owns 40-plus cars and enjoys splashing around and sharing his wealth. He has given away millions of dollars and cars to members of his LMCT+ tech business.

Portelli had his LMCT+ work Christmas party on Friday night and then the Gee Up Christmas party on Saturday night.

In June Portelli bought the waterfront Gold Coast home of Candy and will attempt to give it away again in a trade promotion for LMCT+.
