Frozen chickens flung on Hume Freeway after truck hits barrier
A DRIVER has been freed after being trapped in the cabin of a rolled over truck on the Hume Freeway near Seymour after ripping down 200m of barrier cables and flinging frozen chickens over the road.

A DRIVER has been freed after being trapped in the cabin of a rolled over truck on the Hume Freeway near Seymour.
Police are at the scene and the driver is conscious and in a stable condition, and has been taken to hospital in an air ambulance with head and leg injuries.
The truck, carrying frozen chickens was heading north on the freeway from Seymour and rolled just before 2pm, ripping down 200 metres of cables from a barrier now blocking two northbound lanes.
Northbound traffic is being diverted onto the Goulburn Valley Highway and the lanes are expected to be closed for some time.
HUME HIGHWAY: Paramedics are on scene at a truck rollover on the Hume Highway northbound near Seymour. A man is his 40s has head and leg injuries and is in a serious but stable condition. He's being taken by air ambulance to hospital. @3AW693
