The Finks bikie gang are holding a major run from Wodonga to Melbourne today.

The high-ranking Melbourne-based Kosh Radford is at the front of the Harley Davidson procession roaring to their Cranbourne West clubhouse.

Victoria Police and its anti-bikie Echo task-force are watching the group as it did the Mongols “national run’’ last weekend.

Most of the Finks members are targets of law enforcement bodies, including Victoria Police and the Australian Federal Police’s national anti-gangs squad.

The high-profile killing of bikie Shane Bowden in October last year, who had returned to the Finks after falling out with the Mongols in Melbourne, remains a key issue for police.

Bowden had been released from Loddon Prison, in Castlemaine, in June, where he was met by Mongols members with a limousine.

Only weeks later he was shot in Melbourne’s north, sparking his return to the Finks outfit.

The 48-year-old then flew to Queensland during the COVID-19 lockdown only to be killed in his car as he arrived at his Gold Coast home in October.

Upon his release from jail sources say Bowden attempted to assert his authority within the Mongols.

Rumours also swirled he also began seeing the girlfriend of a Finks member before his murder.

Bowden, who was among the highest-profile Fink members before he “patched over’’ to the Mongols during a national takeover in 2013, gained infamy for shooting Hells Angel Christopher Hudson in a 2006 brawl in Queensland dubbed the ‘’Ballroom Blitz’’.

Since his demise, other bikies have risen up the ranks.

One person of interest police will pay attention to is emerging Fink Mohammed Rafiq.

Rafiq, who has spent time in Melbourne and is currently living in Sydney, has been recruited to the outlaw club after stints with some of its rivals.

It is believed he has associated with the Mongols, Hells Angels and Bandidos.

Sources say his prominence within the Finks is rising.

The Finks Cranbourne West clubhouse, where its patched, probationary and nominee members will party on Saturday night, was damaged in an arson attack in March, 2020.

In 2012, the Finks MC was the first club to be declared a criminal organisation in Australia.
