A FINKS bikie boss has been charged amid an investigation into a home invasion in southeast Melbourne.
The Herald Sun understands 33-year-old Brent James ‘BJ’ Reker will front court over the home invasion at Hampton Park on Sunday.
The bikie boss was charged by detectives from the anti-bikie Echo Taskforce after being arrested at his property in Karingal Drive, Frankston yesterday afternoon.
A handgun, ammunition, a samurai sword, a range of drugs including methamphetamines, cocaine and steroids and outlaw motor cycle gang clothing were seized during a search of the property.
Police also seized a stolen Range Rover and what are believed to be stolen war medals.
Mr Reker has been served with a Firearm Prohibition Order, and charged with offences including aggravated home invasion, intentionally cause injury, make threats to kill and unlawful assault.
He was also charged with drug possession and trafficking, possessing cartridge ammunition, testosterone and a prohibited weapon as well as committing an indictable offence on bail.
The bikie was remanded in custody to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court this morning.
Mr Reker hit the headlines in May when his former home in Frankston was targeted in a drive-by shooting.
He has been working to establish the Finks as a force in Victoria.
