Ms Weinstein, also known as Dr Skin, was on Friday served with an interim prohibition order while investigations continue.

The CDC Clinic in Armadale, of which Ms Weinstein is a director, has also been hit with a prohibition order by Victoria’s Health Complaints Commissioner, limiting the procedures it is allowed to perform.

The latest investigation is understood to centre on claims Ms Weinstein recently botched facial implants on a patient, despite her medical registration already being cancelled over bungled cosmetic procedures a decade ago.

Health Complaints Commissioner Karen Cusack could not release details of the complaint.

Ms Cusack was able, however, to confirm the complaint related to cosmetic treatments performed by Ms Weinstein and the CDC Clinic.

She said the prohibition order was over an allegation that the clinic breached a code of conduct by “failing to provide health services in a safe and ethical way”.

Ms Weinstein and the CDC Clinic have been banned from injecting or infusing substances into patients.

The former high-flying ­cosmetic surgeon’s latest legal issues come as the Australian Health Practitioner continues a separate investigation into her conduct and clinic.

In June, Dr Galina Shvetsova had her medical registration suspended after the Medical Board of Australia found she had delegated surgical tasks to Ms Weinstein while working at the CDC Clinic.

Ms Weinstein has been banned from practising medicine since 2010.

She did not return the Herald Sun’s calls for comment.
