A preschool-aged boy has been flown to hospital in a critical condition after a farm accident near Ballarat.
Paramedics were called to a property in Stonleigh following reports of a “machinery incident” on Saturday afternoon, an ambulance spokeswoman said.
“A preschool-aged child was assessed at the scene and is being flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital,” she said.
The child was in a serious condition on Saturday night.
The Herald Sun understands a bucket-like object fell off a tractor onto the boy, believed to be three-years old.
The boy was reportedly awake and crying when paramedics attended.
