Shoppers flocking to Black Friday sales at Chadstone are being nabbed by the Sheriff as thousands descend to snap up a pre-Christmas bargain.
At least one driver is set to return to their car and find a wheel clamp and infringement notice across the windscreen.
The Herald Sun spotted the car parked in the centre’s underground carpark, clamped with a wheel lock and issued with a bright yellow sticker.
The sticker reads: “Your vehicle has been immobilised with a wheel clamp due to unpaid Enforcement Warrants.
The move comes amid an influx of shoppers to shopping spots across the city, stocking up on gifts and bargain sales for today’s Black Friday sales.
The sales, coinciding with the Thanksgiving holiday in America, have recently found popularity with Australian retailers.
