Ryan Watsford’s eyebrows finally grow back after Ibrahim wax job

The eyebrows of a man who stole from an Ibrahim brother have appeared as a startling piece of evidence in the gun case of John Ibrahim’s girlfriend Sarah Budge, but The Snitch wants to know: Will the hairy trophies be returned to the Kings Cross identity?

Inside the House of Ibrahim

The eyebrows of Ibrahim family hanger-on Ryan Watsford are back — in more ways than one.

Firstly, we can report that Watsford’s eyebrows have finally grown back after they were ripped off his head in 2017 — on the orders of John Ibrahim — for stealing money from the Kings Cross identity’s younger brother.

Secondly, the remnants of Watsford’s brows, which are still on the wax strips that ripped them out, have emerged to become crucial evidence in the gun possession trial of Ibrahim’s model girlfriend Sarah Budge.

John kept the eyebrows as a trophy, and it begs the question: can he get them back after Budge’s case finishes?

Legal experts were divided on that point. And it hangs on if Ibrahim obtained the eyebrows via a criminal act.

If the waxing was viewed in the same light as collecting hair clippings from a barber’s floor, Ibrahim will have no problems getting his wax strips back, one legal expert said.

But if they were obtained via an illegal act — like an assault — then the cops would hang on to them, another legal expert said.

The waxing took place at a Potts Point beauty salon in August 2017 as an underworld punishment with an eastern suburbs twist for stealing $30,000 from Michael Ibrahim.

Watsford had the beautician — who is also the ex of John’s son — draw on cartoon eyebrows after the waxing but was arrested days later over an undercover drug sting.

Ibrahim kept the eyebrows and the wax strips as a trophy but they were seized when police raided his Dover Heights mansion.

John was not charged with any offence and there is no suggestion he has participated in criminal activity.

Following his arrest, the police who interviewed Watsford over several hours would have been wondering why Watsford was sporting ridiculous drawn-on eyebrows.

He was also noticed by criminals in jail who did a double take when they saw him and his drawn-on brows.

On Friday, one informed source told us that Watsford’s brows were now back to their bushy best. The eyebrows have now become key evidence in Budge’s case.

The Downing Centre District Court heard this week that one of the wax strips used on Watsford contained the same DNA as that found on the trigger of the loaded Glock found in Budge’s Double Bay apartment.
