A cyclist has died in hospital after being involved in a serious crash earlier this month.

The 67-year-old man was thrown from his bike on Sunday, January 5.

Emergency services arrived at the intersection of Callington Rd and East Tce, Strathalbyn and assisted the man at the scene.

He was flown to hospital in a critical condition and died from his injuries on Wednesday, according to SA Police.

The man’s death is the seventh life lost on South Australian roads so far this year.

Meanwhile, a 71-year-old Henley Beach man was killed in the state’s Far North on Friday after his four-wheel drive rolled over with a caravan in tow.
