A man has died in a crash in the state’s Far North after losing control of his four-wheel drive and rolling with a caravan in tow.
Emergency services were called to the Stuart Highway, Wirraminna, on Friday just before 5.30pm.
SA Police said they found a 71-year-old Henley Beach man driving a Mitsubishi Pajero, who died at the scene.
Major Crash officers attended and are investigating what caused the crash.
The highway was closed to heavy vehicles and light traffic redirected, but it has since reopened completely.
The man’s death is the eight life lost on South Australian roads this year.
