Motorcyclist dies after crashing into pole at Carindale
A motorcyclist has tragically died after crashing into a guard rail along a major Brisbane road on Friday morning.

A motorcyclist has been confirmed dead after a crash in Brisbane on Friday morning.
Emergency services responded to an incident on Old Cleveland Rd in Carindale, near the Westfield shopping centre, just after 10am.
Police said a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle was travelling along the road when it collided with a metal railing near the Scrub Rd intersection.
The 26-year-old rider, of Capalaba, sustained critical injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man sustained serious head and chest injuries.
Police and other emergency crews closed the road in the eastbound direction for a period.
Police were investigating the circumstances of the crash and urged anyone with dashcam vision or information to contact them.
