A NEW Broadbeach tower will hit the market on Friday after developers reported a surge in inquiries.
Bottega Group’s new 17-storey 123OBR project, earmarked for a site on Old Burleigh Road, is being targeted at downsizers and is being pitched to buyers as a “vertical village of beach houses”.
Units start from $2.9 million.
Brisbane-based Bottega Group is fast-tracking the project on the back of surging interest in the Gold Coast property market.

Bottega Group managing director Nick Malloch said Broadbeach’s lifestyle credentials made it an attractive location to build.
“The combination of epic surf, stunning vistas and the village-like feel of the local community are alluring in their own right,” he said.
“To enhance the living experience, we have created a design where each residence occupies an entire floor and shares in resort style amenities.”
The project was submitted to the Gold Coast City Council in late 2019 and approved by the Planning Committee in 2020.
It is the first Gold Coast project from Bottega partners Mr Malloch and Louis Mennes.

It will have just one unit per floor, including a two-level, four-bedroom penthouse.
Designed by global architectural firm Woods Bagot, floors will be made of 300-year-old wood from France.
“The design of 123OBR appears as several luxurious homes stacked vertically on top of each other, it’s a vertical village designed as a beach home,” said architect David Lee.
The new tower will replace an existing 1960s-era unit block which be demolished in coming months.
