A MAN has been arrested as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Pyramid Hill woman Krystal Fraser in 2009, an intellectually disabled woman who vanished from her home three days before she was due to give birth.

A MAN has been arrested as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Pyramid Hill woman Krystal Fraser in 2009.
Missing Person Squad detectives arrested a 61-year-old Pyramid Hill man this morning.
He was interviewed by police has been released pending further inquiries.

The 23-year-old intellectually disabled woman was three days from giving birth to a little boy she planned to name Ryan when she vanished from her home on June 20, 2009.
Investigators believe Krystal was murdered and despite extensive investigations, are yet to find her.
In June 2012 a reward of up to $100,000 was announced for information that would help solve the 23-year-old’s disappearance.
The reward will be paid at the discretion of the Chief Commissioner, for information leading to the apprehension and subsequent conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Krystal.
