Jaymes Todd and Codey Herrmann clash in Melbourne Assessment Prison

Two of Victoria’s most loathed murderers, Codey Herrmann and Jaymes Todd, have been involved in a physical altercation in the Melbourne Assessment Prison, with staff forced to intervene.

Bad blood has emerged between two of the state’s most loathed killers.

The Sunday Herald Sun has been told corrections authorities have moved to separate Codey Herrmann and Jaymes Todd.

They clashed physically in the Melbourne Assessment Prison with staff forced to intervene.

Neither of the killers were injured in the fracas.

That confrontation followed some angry verbal exchanges between the pair with Hermann viewed as the instigator.

Codey Herrmann is serving 36 years for murdering Israeli exchange student Aiia Maasarwe in Bundoora.

Jaymes Todd is serving life behind bars for murdering young comedian Eurydice Dixon in Princes Park.

Hermann, 21, is serving 36 years in jail with a minimum of 30 for the murder of Israeli exchange student Aiia Maasarwe at Bundoora on January 16 this year.

The 20-year-old Todd was last year sentenced to life in jail for the murder of young comedian Eurydice Dixon as she walked home through Princes Park.

Aiia Maasarwe was in Melbourne on an exchange program.

Eurydice Dixon’s death took the city, and country, by storm.

The two are not the only despised killers more renowned for violence against women to butt heads this year within the corrections system.

In May, Adrian Ernest Bayley and Steven Hunter, punched on at maximum security Barwon Prison, near Geelong.

Bayley, who murdered Jill Meagher in Brunswick. fought with Hunter, the killer of Sarah Cafferley, for more than three minutes before staff stopped the fight.

No charges were laid over the stoush and the pair have been separated.
