Explosive sparks fire at Epping home

POLICE were called after an explosive, thrown at a Melbourne home, damaged a garage.

AN EXPLOSIVE thrown at a home in Melbourne’s north last night sparked a fire, damaging a garage.

Police were called to Buckland Crescent in Epping at 9.45pm following reports of an explosion.

The device exploded on impact and caused fire damage to the home’s garage, but it’s not yet known whether anyone was home at the time of the attack.
